We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven healthcare clinical IT and business professional to join HIMSS as the Vice President (VP) of Analytics, EMEA Region. Reporting to the Head of Analytics, in this senior leadership role, you will be responsible for driving strategic growth, expanding our customer base, and ensuring exceptional service delivery.

You will play a pivotal role in building strategic partnerships, optimizing product and project services delivery, and contributing to future business growth, with delivery of outstanding results and excellence in client, member and workforce experience.

Responsibilities

Service Delivery Operations and Optimization:
  • Oversee service delivery operations to ensure high-quality, efficient, and timely delivery of products and services.
  • Analyze customer feedback, market research, and industry trends to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies for service optimization.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure service delivery effectiveness and make data-informed leadership decisions.
  • Manage business operations and financial reporting of regional P&L.

Team Leadership and Development:
  • Act as a key member of the EMEA region senior leadership team, contributing to market strategy, partnering on business growth and overall operations management, improvement and growth.
  • Provide strong leadership and guidance to project delivery teams.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence to maximize performance and build strong partnerships with other stakeholders.
  • Lead a fully remote team of ten, with future expansion anticipated, fostering a culture that aligns with HIMSS values and mission, accountability, and continuous learning.


Market Knowledge and Thought Leadership:
  • Strong knowledge of the EMEA region healthcare market, specifically in digital health transformation programs, regulations, funding models and priorities.
  • Partner with the Marketing, Sales and Product Management groups in market engagement and product strategy, acting as a thought leader and trusted advisor.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to anticipate market shifts and adapt business strategies accordingly.
  • Provide internal and market-facing thought leadership on digital health transformation, attend and present at conferences and events.


Business Development and Partnering
  • Work with the sales team to achieve revenue growth targets for new and organic business growth.
  • Work with the Product team on new and current product development, market feedback and product launch activities.
  • Collaborative with internal and external partners to deliver seamless, high-quality client and member experience.
  • Identify potential market partnership opportunities and lead contract negotiations.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective product content and campaigns.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key industry stakeholders, partners, and potential clients.
  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, healthcare market trends, and customer needs to develop strategies for product and service offerings.
  • Contribute to comprehensive business development strategies to drive revenue and membership growth, and position HIMSS as a trusted global digital health partner, advisor and thought leader.
What you will need to be successful::
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare field with 10+ years of experience
  • Master's degree in business or healthcare administration, information technology or health sciences, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record of success in healthcare business and service delivery at a senior leadership level.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze market dynamics and identify growth opportunities.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain strategic relationships, work collaboratively with stakeholders, lead and develop highly productive teams.
  • Solid understanding of service delivery processes, customer experience management in highly complex and rapidly changing environments, risk management and continuous quality improvement.
  • Demonstrated experience in team leadership, fostering a culture of high-performance, quality, efficiency, innovation, inclusion and diversity.
  • Strong critical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to analyse complex issues, then develop and execute effective solutions.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing business environments and priorities.
  • Ability to travel as required, within the region and globally.
