Job Description
We are currently looking for an experienced, creative, and forward-thinking Head Chef for one of our prestigious client sites based in Canary Wharf.
Working in a flagship Canary Wharf building you’ll be managing and driving a large team producing quality food and bringing new ideas to the menus and your team.
This site offers quality hot food counters, salad bars and a range of grab and go options and is a busy site serving around 1000 meals a day. You’ll be empowered to manage your team and implement change alongside producing the best and freshest food possible.
Key Responsibilities
· To inspire, motivate and continually develop the kitchen team.
· To innovate and push the boundaries on food delivery in both service and craft.
· To ensure the production of food to the highest quality and service standards using current trends in cooking techniques and new commodities
· To develop and progress the business in line with high street trends
· To plan, coordinate and order all food requirements through the dynamic menu planner
· To ensure the prompt service of meals and services at required times to the company's standard and to the satisfaction of the clients
Professional and personal competencies/qualifications
· Ambitious, passionate Head Chef with a proven track record of running quality kitchen operations
· Level 3 Food Safety
· Keen attention to detail
· Creative
· Thorough knowledge of Allergens incl. Natasha’s Law
