Recruit4Staff are proud to represent our client, an internationally renowned construction & civil engineering company in their search for a Logistics Manager to work on their long-term civil engineering & infrastructure project in the North Wales area
For the successful Logistics Manager our client is offering:
- Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum (Negotiable depending on experience & skillset)
- Company car or car allowance
- 25 days holiday + Bank holidays
- Digs provided
- Pension with up to 8% contribution from our client
- Permanent role
The Role - Logistics Manager
- Responsible for all aspects of the logistics supply chain, stores management, and development of site logistics
- Plan internal and external logistics routes through the project phases
- Plan and integrate with key contractors to meet the needs of the planned programme and de-confliction of on site space and time where appropriate.
- Responsible for ensuring that material movement to and from the workface does not cause damage to the works, the workforce or the public.
- Be capable of managing sub-contractors to deliver their package of goods or services
- Create a schedule of logistics meetings and ensure logistics is represented at site meetings.
What our client is looking for in a Logistics Manager
- Logistics-related qualification - ESSENTIAL
- Previous experience working for Tier 1 or Tier 2 Contractor companies - ESSENTIAL
- Previous experience working on major construction/civil engineering contracts - ESSENTIAL
- Previous Nationa Grid experience - DESIRABLE
- Full driving license - ESSENTIAL
- CSCS & SMSTS / SSSTS
