Westwood is a well-established and family-owned mental health residential care home located in Mickleover, Derby recently under new management. We pride ourselves on providing a safe and supportive environment for our Residents who require 24-hour care and are actively seeking experienced Senior Care Home Support Workers to join the team to provide support.

What are we looking for?

  • A pro-active experienced individual who shares our passion for providing high levels of care, an NVQ Level 2 and 3 Health & Social Care qualification are required
  • Strong communication skills with an eye for detail – specifically for keeping accurate and timely records
  • An enthusiastic team player who will support the physical, emotional wellbeing and social needs of our Residents while ensuring dignity and individuality is considered in all aspects of care. This will require delivering personal care or administering medication.
  • Organised and logical thinkers who will be comfortable following processes to ensure strong standards of care are maintained at all times.
  • Compliance with all in-house policies and procedures with particular focus on Fire procedures and Health and Safety guidelines.
