We’re looking for a Tier 2 Engineer who is committed to developing their IT skills and would like to take on an increasing level of responsibility as we expand. You’ll work as part of a growing team that focuses on making users life’s easier through simple advice, excellent service, and thorough repairs. Excellent communication skills are a must!
ECS Computers are a managed service provider that supply local businesses (both SME & Corporate) with a range of IT support and services, whilst also providing, repairing, and supporting hardware for home users.
Your primary responsibilities and duties will include:
- Providing 1st and 2nd line IT support to our customers
- Monitoring customers infrastructure via RMM solution
- Following escalation procedures to ensure Service Level Agreements are met
- Managing customer issues through to closure
- Identifying recurring outages and trends
- Providing ongoing documentation and improvement of processes
- Attending customers’ sites when necessary
Essential Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
- 2+ years professional experience working for a Managed Service Provider or an IT help desk
- Networking & Server experience
- Understanding of priorities and SLA’s
- RMM/PSA experience preferred
- Microsoft desktop OS experience (7 to Windows 11)
- Microsoft Office (2013 to 365)
- Microsoft Server 2003-2022
- Microsoft Active Directory
- DNS
- Microsoft Exchange 2013-365 Administration
- Backup technologies
- Anti-Virus technologies
- Diagnosing and resolving technical issues
- High-level desktop and remote support skills
- Exceptional customer service
- Full clean UK driving license
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Firewalls
- Server configurations
- Hyper-V & VM ware
- Mac OS

Salary: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
