Junior Customer Insight Analyst – Located at our Hobbycraft Head Office, BH23 6HG.
Salary -£25,000 + pension with a 4% contribution, 25 days holiday increasing every year, 25% discount in our stores, hybrid working policy, Dog friendly office and many more!
This is a full-time role, working 37.5 hours. Our core business hours are Monday to Friday – 9am to 5pm but we have a flexible approach to start and finish times.
Our hybrid working model is 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home.
About the Role
We are looking for a bright and talented individual who is analytically minded and looking to progress a career in Customer Insight & Analysis. Supporting the Customer Insight Manager, you will assist with the delivery of our customer strategy and commercial plan.
You will learn all about our new Customer Data Platform (Bloomreach) to produce customer dashboards and reports, help identify sales growth opportunities, advise on the effectiveness of CRM campaigns, and generate customer insights to optimise the profitability of our Hobbycraft Club database. This role will work closely with the CRM, Email, Digital, and Marketing teams.
- Produce weekly, monthly, and ad hoc customer reports covering commercial and customer behavioural metrics, and customer feedback surveys.
- Assist with analysis tasks that focus on growth opportunities, customer retention, customer acquisition, and lifetime value
- Utilise Bloomreach functionality to create customer segments, metrics, and attributes for the purposes of data analysis, reporting, and for the personalisation of emails and our website.
- Support in the delivery of quarterly customer performance reviews for wider business distribution
- Assist with the design, implementation, and measurement of ad-hoc and rolling CRM campaigns to drive engagement, repeat purchase, and incremental spend.
- Provide a helpdesk function to answer ad-hoc questions about our CDP, customer data, customer metrics, and our Customer Loyalty program.
- Ensure the integrity of our customer database and assist with rectifying any data issues.
- Create and manage discount codes for use within our CRM campaigns.
About You
- Educated to degree level or with relevant practical experience
- Highly numerate with excellent analytical skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- Understanding of how to use data and insight to drive sales performance
- Ability to interpret data and find patterns, trends, and opportunities
- Strong communication skills – written, verbal and presenting
- Attention to detail with strong organisational skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Experience with Big Query, Google Analytics, and Data Studio would be advantageous but not essential
