The Chief Risk Office function has Group-wide responsibility for the management and control of all credit, market, operational, enterprise and liquidity risks and has the responsibility of continual development of methods for risk measurement, frameworks and creating a bank wide strong risk culture.
As the Risk Manager will have a pivotal role in 2LOD Non-Financial Risk Management. (NFRM). They will play a key role in ensuring that the Third-Party Risk Management team (TPRM) maintains and continues to strengthen oversight across a broad range of topics. Your key responsibilities
Provide specific 2LOD oversight across the integration of Globally Material, legacy ‘Special Categories’ and previously excluded transactions into the new Deutsch Bank Third-PartyRisk Management (dbTPRM) platform and processes.
Ensure Third Party Risk related deliverables are satisfied on time, with a strong focus on (but not limited to) Findings Management, regulatory obligations, and management reporting.
Ensure the complete and effective implementation of formal controls across Third Party Risk.
Work with a broad range of stakeholders to ensure the TPRM Framework is kept up to date (e.g., Policy, Procedure, KRIs) as it evolves to best support internal and external requirements. Identify and drive implementation of initiatives to improve the Third-Party Risk ecosystem.
Represent TPRM in governance and other forums related to these responsibilities e.g. Exemptions, Exceptions, Out of Scope Decisions etc.
Your skills and experience
TPRM related experience, including an understanding of the processes and controls to manage the risk across different types of third parties: traditional and non-traditional vendors (e.g. brokers, exchanges, insurances).
Confident and articulate with excellent communication skills, comfortable presenting to senior stakeholder audiences across different businesses.
Calm under pressure, able to manage complex priorities to meet tight deadlines while also ensuring that longer-term projects are completed.
Personally accountable for results and can work independently and triage questions and issues, make decisions along with judgment to escalate problems appropriately.
Prior experience of working in a 2LOD team, a robust understanding of Non-Financial Risk Management principles and practices within the financial services industry.
