We are looking for an enthusiastic Infrastructure SME specialising in Cyber Security. In this exciting new role you will have opportunity to help build and shape new architecture and solutions for the Trust from the ground up.
The post will be based at our Trust Headquarters in Wakefield with scope for flexible working, although the postholder will be required to be mobile to support on call, therefore have the ability to travel throughout YAS and worksites in a timely manner. Eg. Must have own car and valid UK driving licence.
Responsible, alongside the Infrastructure and Voice Communications Manager, for co-creating and communicating an inspiring, compelling, forward-looking patient-centric vision for Enterprise digital and information management services which will support the Trust’s strategic direction.
The role includes the responsibility of the Trusts technical specification, design authority and integrity of highly complex information and communications technology infrastructure which underpins all Yorkshire Ambulance Service digital systems, infrastructure and services.

Drive common approaches to the Trusts enterprise architecture
You will act as an escalation point for Cyber Security incidents and provide advice and knowledge to support the service operations as well as assisting with Cyber Security training packages for both the teams and organisation in order to develop a culture of Cyber Security awareness.
Manage the development and improvement of security processes and practices along with proactive monitoring and reviewing of security incidents and alerts.
Implementation, maintenance, and integration of the corporate WAN, LAN and server architecture. This individual will also be responsible for implementation and administration of network security hardware and software, enforcing the network security, cyber security policy and complying with requirements of external security audits and recommendations
Investigate complex technical issues and enquiries, providing assistance and advice as required.
Keep abreast of industry developments, providing advice to inform strategic business planning.
Work closely with colleagues to ensure the delivery of day to day DIGITAL services and support the implementation of the Trust’s DIGITAL strategy.

Support of all Infrastructure systems (including as part of an out of hours rota).
