PURSPOSE OF THE ROLE

Role Overview
As part of the warehouse team, you will carry out operations associated with distribution, in a manner which maximises Health and Safety, Quality, Efficiency and Productivity by complying with all processes and procedures in place.

Requirements:
Electric pallet struck and Stacker truck licence or experience preferred
Sap Knowledge in WM module desired but not essential
Experience in Warehouse environment

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

Results Meets efficiency targets, recognizes issues and informs appropriate people Drives all Mechanical Handling Equipment and uses RDT according to procedures to put goods away and pick all order types Processes Production Returns. Reports anomalies (QRR / reject forms) Receives Finished Goods, informs others of errors Samples components & Raw Materials. Takes appropriate steps to prevent contamination. Reports anomalies Ensures all Security procedures are adhered to by Haulers Operates all MHE’s in accordance with their training

Quality Receives in goods in: book in components / raw materials as directed Makes system location queries Investigate status of orders or move / task errors and informs others of anomalies Loading of distribution vehicles Maintain high standards of housekeeping

Health and Safety Operates equipment according to safe policies / methods Follows procedures for: manual handling VDU use and material handling (COSHH).Wears appropriate P.P.E Checks MHE according to procedures Follow all, and ensure others follow, Company Safety Procedures and adhere to all processes and procedures that are in place, including (but not limited to) COSHH, PPE, accident/incident reporting, first aid and manual handling Adhere to all Health and Safety at Work obligations Challenge non-compliance to Health and Safety, Quality and Hygiene guidelines Adherence to safety guidelines – guards, emergency stops, safety logs, usage of tools etc. Report issues and escalating concerns to Supervisor Emergency / Incident (fire, spillage, bomb, major injury). Knowledge of evacuation procedure. Able to notify responsible person Use any equipment at work in accordance with instructions and training

WORKPLACE HEALTH AND SAFETY

Authorise and allocate appropriate resources (people, financial) and training to ensure Coty’s Health and Safety Management system is implemented and risk is minimized
Lead, manage and supervise workers (including contractors) that you have responsibility for on Coty premises
Ensure the workplace is safe and without risks to health both physical and psychological
Reduce the risk of injury or illness in the workplace so far as reasonably practicable
Take care of your own health and safety and the safety of others
Avoid short cuts which could put yourself or someone else at risk
Cooperate with Coty when they are taking action to improve health and safety
Follow safety policies and procedures including wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required and ensure the team are compliant also
Report and investigate work-related hazards, incidents and near misses
Complete all required health and safety training
Other health and safety duties as required from time to time
