Job description
We are looking for a highly motivated individual, to join our team that wants variation in their daily workload and to take on a hands-on responsibility approach. It will be key to be flexible and the ideal candidate would exhibit strong experience in delivering a good service to both internal and external customers. We are a Marine Livestock business and as such time is critical to our shipments, as is the quality and care of our goods in transit. This individual will cover multiple tasks in both areas in the cash & carry and warehouse area and should have good experience with customer service skills, performing warehouse duties and driving vans.
You should have a strong work ethic and passion for working within a warehouse environment. This is a part-time role working Monday-Friday, start and finish times are negotiable. This operational support involves picking and packing orders and general warehouse housekeeping duties. FLT (Reach) licence is advantageous.
On the job training will be given.
This is a good hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a varied role and has an interest in aquatics. Candidates should be able to display a desire to work within a team, to support operational activity that relates to both fish and dry goods sales.
This role would suit someone who is energised by supporting all aspects of our daily operations, where flexibility is key.
Key responsibilities include:
· Warehouse duties, including picking and packing, including lifting heavy stock items and unloading pallets
· General warehouse housekeeping tasks
Key skills required include:
· Willingness to get involved, take ownership, and work on your own initiative is important.
· Hands on approach to tasks and situations
· Flexibility to adapt to sudden changes
· Positive ‘can do’ attitude
· Ability to communicate professionally, in the best interests of the company
· Aquatic product knowledge (advantageous but training will be given)
Hours of Work: Monday – Friday (8.00am-12.00pm) start date: a.s.a.p.
