Job description
We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed, friendly and qualified skipper to join our tour team for a very busy year. You will need a valid qualification under the inland waterways small boat passenger scheme requirements and a minimum of three years commercial boat experience.
You will work aboard Lady Pamela, our small passenger and events boat. We run a very busy schedule and so you should be a proven skipper with excellent people and communication skills. You will work as part of a close knit team delivering scripted sightseeing tours and hosting private party groups within an alcohol licensed premises. Daily you will work with different members of the boat tour team, and are expected to supervise staff to ensure great quality tours and customer service.
Your role will involve:
Start of the day checks and preparation
Management of the boat throughout the day
Supervision of crew and other tour staff
Delivery of great tours and parties
Management of safety and satisfaction of guests
End of day clean down and safety of boat
We will consider full time, part time, flexible and periodic working. You will report to and share the skippering and supervision of staff with both the Lead Skipper/Director and Associate Director. Tours will run from April to October.

Salary: £10.00-£15.00 per hour
