Hours: 25 hours per week (split shifts Mornings/Afternoon Monday to Friday)
Contractual Status: Permanent
The day centre is committed in offering social inclusion for people that have a diagnosis of dementia promoting their Rights, Independence, Fulfilment, and Choice.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills who will be able to work as part of a team.
The successful applicant will be working alongside the escort to accompany vulnerable adults with a range of different needs on their journey to and from their home into our day services.
You will be always responsible for the passenger’s safety and wellbeing, ensuring that their transport to and from the centre is as comfortable and as pleasant as possible.
You will also be responsible for carrying out daily safety checks on the onsite minibus prior to leaving the day centre.
We are seeking applicants that will embed the values of Middlesbrough Council and will be passionate about the service that we provide statutory training will be given as first aid, manual handling etc.
