Hours: 40 per week, 1:6 weekend rota with time back, plus minimal on-call duties

Your role and responsibilities
We have the opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join our Diagnostics Imaging team as Shift Supervisor.
As Diagnostics Supervisor you will be responsible for the daily organisation and supervision of our state-of-of-the-art advanced imaging suite, to ensure the smooth and consistent flow of cases through the hospital. You will work closely with our technicians, interns, residents, radiology specialists and fellow nurses on an interesting and varied caseload. You will have the opportunity to utilise a wide range of nursing skills as your involvement will include patients who are conscious, sedated, and anaesthetised.
This is a rewarding role which will give you the opportunity to use your experience to help support and motivate a team of dedicated and highly skilled nurses whilst developing your own skills as a leader. You will be highly organised with excellent communication skills.
You must be enthusiastic, flexible and enjoy leading a team through a busy workload. Having high levels of accuracy and attention to detail are essential, together with being committed to providing high standards of service.
Previous referral experience would be advantageous but is not essential as comprehensive training will be provided.
