Since 2009 NHS Talking Therapies provides Psychological Therapies for North East Lincolnshire. The service provides low and high intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, EMDR, couples psychotherapy, Counselling for Depression and Interpersonal Therapy. The clinical team consists of High Intensity Therapists, Counsellors, Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners, Interpersonal Therapists and Employment Advisors.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, skilled and dedicated individual who would like to train to become a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner. Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners are trained to deliver low intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to people with mild to moderate mental health problems. The post initially involves studying for a postgraduate certificate at the University of Sheffield for one year whilst also working as a trainee within the service. The team consists of experienced staff who have been specifically trained to provide supervision.
