Role Overview of the Trainee Cyber Security Technician:
- This is a trainee role with both course-led education and ‘on-the-job’ experience as a Trainee Cyber Security Technician.
- Working within the clients' Security & Compliance team, this role is fast-paced and requires an understanding of cyber threats, hazards, risks, controls, measures and mitigations. The focus is to protect organisation's systems and people and most importantly, deliver an excellent customer experience.
Role Responsibilities of the Trainee Cyber Security Technician:
- Communicating with customers via phone & email
- Working through security-related support tickets using PSA
- Updating our PSA to manage and monitor all activities
- Review RMM policies to ensure patching, compliance, and monitoring are taking place
- Interdepartmental communication
- Attend weekly meetings and report on KPIs within the meeting
- Contribute to internal policies, procedures, and processes
