Desktop Support (Cloud & Security)
Role: Desktop Support (Cloud & Security)Location: Remote working with occasional travel to Birmingham
Salary: £30,000-£35,000 per annum
We are currently working with a large scale organisation who are a global force in their field. They require a well rounded Desktop Support person who has a good understanding of Cloud and Security technologies. You will handle escalations from the support desk which are generally infrastructure/security focused, so you will need to be well rounded. You will be managing the sentinel platform in Azure, the MS compliance centres and admin tasks, Azure AD which will extend into dealing with security incidents, which would be basic analysis and remediation work, and you will be involved with vulnerability within the Azure platform, working closely with your line manager and the Azure platform itself.
Skills, experience and requirements for the role:
- A strong background in support roles
- Experience with cloud and security technologies
- A strong all round technical background
- Any previous project support work would be advantageous
- A willing person who is open to learning new technologies
You must be have the right to work in the UK to be successful in securing the role and be based in the UK. If you are based near or in the West Midlands, this would be beneficial.
