The Elec Group was founded in March 2019 and has since taken over the staff, customer base and other assets of a well-established business. Our team has huge commercial and technical experience with the average Elec Group engineer having served 17 years within the industry.
As Trainee Customer Service you will be an integral part of the Operations team in their delivery of client contracts including booking in appointments via app, telephone and email. You will need to provide the very highest level of Customer Service whilst ensuring contracts are organised efficiently and to protect the Health, Safety and Welfare of our staff and the public.
Responsibilities will include:
Negotiating appointments with clients via app, telephone, email or text in a professional manner, ensuring that they have all of the information required to allow work on site to progress smoothly.
Provide both the client and your colleagues with the highest level of customer service, in line with our Company Management System, Quality Policy and ISO:9001
Agree any special Client requirements that might need to be adhered to, relaying the information accordingly to the relevant persons via our software system.
Efficiently plan and schedule engineers & sub-contractors work around the UK using our software system to maximise profit.
Liaise with engineers, both face to face and over the telephone, in a confident and professional manner, to ensure that they have all information required to complete works first time.
Provide support to engineers to equip them to carry out their duties, including problem solving, arranging accommodation, and assisting with vehicle issues such as breakdown recovery or parking & other charges.
Accurately invoice for completed work using our software system and issue compliance reports in line with specific client requirements.
Think as a team, working with other departments to ensure that the client’s order is delivered on time, to specification and in line with our company policies, procedures and management system
Responsible for the Health, Safety & Welfare of yourself and others, in line with our Company Management System, Health & Safety Policy and ISO:45001.

Salary: £14,625.00-£20,319.00 per year
