Tea Room Assistant (18 hours per week)

Tiptree Tea Room, The Barns, Braintree, Essex CM77 8PD

Up to £10.42ph + tips

Working hours: 18 hours over 3 days per week (a combination of weekdays and weekends).

Wilkin & Sons Ltd boast 10 Tea Rooms and a Jam Shop across Essex and Suffolk. We are now looking to recruit for our Braintree based Tea Room, for a part time Tea Room Assistant covering 3 days per week. We are seeking those that are able to work during the week and cover weekends as well.

We are ideally seeking someone with previous kitchen experience so they can hit the ground running although training will be provided.

Responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Food preparation including meals, cakes, and hot and cold drinks.
  • Helping to keep the everyday operations running smoothly
  • Maintaining excellent standards of personal, food and kitchen hygiene
  • Adapting and producing dishes to meet special dietary, religious and allergenic requirements
  • Communicating internally and externally with customers and colleagues
