Job description
The CDO Data Product Delivery team is comprised of business oriented data product delivery leaders who will drive the requirements for new data products and own management of one or more established data products.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partner with Line of Business CDO’s to define requirements for AI-Ready Data Products
- Establish and manage regular process for identifying and prioritizing BI or AI-ML needs for data which cannot be or are difficult to fulfill
- Partner with Data Risk Management to identify high risk data management issues requiring remediation or delivery improvement plans. Develop AI-ML training, inference, or exhaust data product requirements
- Partner with Line of Business CDO’s to create and publish Data Product roadmaps (plan of action, milestones) aligned to priority AI-ML use cases and BI priorities
- Identify both internal and external emerging needs for data products
- Drive execution and delivery of innovative data products to accelerate value realization and AI-ML/BI capability delivery. Design in reliability, scalability, and quality controls across all data products
- Identify AI-ML use cases where data preparation is insufficiently robust, and/or standard Data Products/Offerings are not used, and/or current Data Products are not adequate for the need.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:
- 15+ years experience in banking, financial services, fintech, asset management, or financial services consulting in data and/or analytics related leadership roles
- Advanced degree in business or technical/quantitative discipline
- Business and Technical Acumen:
- Deep domain expertise (knowledge of clients, products, services,) coupled with deep expertise in the data (applications systems, BI and AI applications) used to manage and execute strategy in one or more of 12 primary business units
- Subject matter expert in the data typically used by one or more of the 12 primary business units served
- Ability to articulate both technical data delivery and execution requirements as well as the business value and context of the data
- Strong knowledge of data mesh architecture and data product concepts
- Able to articulate business needs to technical leadership and technical issues to business leadership
- Experience:
- Experience leading design and delivery of data platforms for AI-ML and/or BI for a line of business or corporate function at a top US or global bank
- Experience working with both business and technical leadership in data delivery role
