ABOUT DAILY DOSE
Daily Dose is the largest cold pressed juice manufacturer in the UK. We produce all our drinks in-house at our Cambridge factory. Daily Dose started in our founder's mum's kitchen and has since moved to a 40,000 sq ft BRC AA+ site. At Daily Dose, we produce the finest cold pressed juice which is sold in this country and further afield. Daily Dose focuses on sustainability; working with local farmers to use surplus wonky fruit and veg, turning our organic waste into Biofuels and only using bottles made from recycled materials.
WHAT'S THE OPPORTUNITY?
We are looking for a brilliant Operations Manager to be responsible for our whole supply chain management. We are looking for a candidate who can optimise our locations, taking full, overall responsibility for the operations of the company including organising and monitoring our production site, looking at the storage and distribution of goods, and also managing the entire order cycle so we can be as efficient and sustainable as possible.
WHAT WILL THE ROLE INVOLVE?
- Oversee the whole end to end operation
- Strategically plan and manage production, logistics, warehouse, transportation and
- Direct, optimise and coordinate full order cycle
- Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers
- Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
- Arrange warehouse, catalogue goods, plan routes and process shipments
- Resolve any arising problems or complaints
- Supervise, coach and train workforce
- Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
- Maintain metrics and analyse data to assess performance and implement improvements
- Comply with laws, and regulations
- Ensure processes pre and post production are cohesive and in the best interest of meeting core business objectives
- Monitor usage of Odoo to ensure accuracy of data captured
- Analyse reports on efficiencies and KPIs
- Formulate KPIs for areas that are lagging operationally
- Lead standardisation of messaging on key operational processes
WHAT EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND TRAITS DO I NEED?
- Proven working experience as a Operations Manager
- Record of successful distribution and logistics management
- Experience of the food production environment
- Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
- Proficient in standard logistics software
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
- Potentially a BS in Business Administration, Logistics or Supply Chain or equivalent experience
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £60,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
