Job description
Introduction
My client is looking for a Test & Release Manager to define high-level Test approaches, Test plans, Test phases and Test strategies for projects and programmes within the National Security Sector.
My client are a leading engineering and technology consultancy who supply their customers with cutting edge engineering solutions across many domains.
Due to the nature of this role, candidates will be based fully on-site and must hold an active DV Clearance to be considered.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee Non-Functional testing
- Drive the development and maintenance of automation frameworks and scripts
- Collect and report metrics, progress, and statistics against the test activity
- Defect Management, including triaging, analysis, and reporting
- Planning, coordinating, and supervising activities related to the deployment of a release for a service
- Providing timely communications to all stakeholders on the progress of a release
- Close collaboration with Product Owners and Feature Teams
Skills & experience
- Experience of working in a cross-functional Agile team
- Experience in defining test strategies
- Functional and non-functional testing experience
- Awareness of automated testing, continuous integration and deployment tools and practices
- Experience of working in the End-to-end software development lifecycle
- ISTQB Advanced Level Certification
