The Digital Technology Specialist develops and operationalizes quality assurance tests and user guides for all projects produced by the Design & Technology team. The Specialist interacts with physicians, hospital staff, researchers, patients, and external groups to facilitate engagement with our work and evangelize the adoption of innovative technology solutions Including, serving as tech-translator for clinicians with systems designers, technicians, and analysts.
Responsibilities:- Works with development teams to conduct testing on all projects, create user guides or tutorials, and assist with creation of test plans.
- Runs and helps manage demos of the work for internal and external groups both on-site and remote, assists users through a safe and comfortable experience.
- Analyzes, tests, creates reports, and assists with implementation of existing or new technology solutions that fulfill business needs or improves existing processes.
- Updates and maintains existing equipment and sets up new equipment. Maintains mobile device management (MDM) systems including, answering questions, requests, problems or troubleshooting bugs.
- Keeps up to date on emerging technologies by performing regular reviews and attending conferences, and shares presentations on new tech with the team.
- Works with other departments (child life, anesthesiology, injury prevention, etc.) to consult on technology enhancements.

Skills:
- Working knowledge of software development
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills necessary to present and communicate important information effectively to all levels of stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Self-motivated, detail oriented, analytical problem solver and critical thinker
Experience:
- If Bachelor’s degree, no experience required. Otherwise, four years of experience required.
- Experience in technology or healthcare related field required.
