As a Front of House Security Officer with ISS for a Global Blue Chip Company, based in Canary Wharf, you will be at the forefront of creating a safe environment, protecting your colleagues and our customer's property, people, and assets by providing exemplary security operations.
Mon - Fri: Ave 55hrs p/w
Week 1-3: 07:00-19:00
Week 4: 09:00-17:00
The Front of House Security Officer will have a good understanding of Security procedures, systems, paperwork and administration required for the effective provision of security work within the account.
The Officer will also excellent attentive skills with the ability to communicate excellently and clearly at all levels, including Country Leadership team Executives.
The officer must understand that all instructions issued to them are reasonable in nature and are expected to be completed to a good standard and an achievable timeframe. The officer will be conscious of any issues or problems they are encountering and be able to raise this to their leadership chain in a timely manner.

The Role
- Always ensuring the safety of the site and everyone on it
- Keeping vigilant and identifying any suspicious activities
- Prevent any unauthorised access
- Keep up to date with all the activity on site and have full knowledge of daily events
- Create a positive, professional relationship with customers and colleagues
- Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures and ensure any breaches are reported
- Working as part of a team and on your own depending on site requirements
- Monitoring and supervision of the Firm's Sites during the hours specified within the agreed contract specifications.
- Understanding and fully complying with Site Assignment Instructions.
- Understanding and fully complying with the Firm’s Security Policy and S.O.P’s
- Controlling access to entrances and exits
- Protecting the Firm's Sites, the Firm’s Staff, suppliers and visitors from theft, vandalism, violence and damage or other harm
About You
- Previous security experience
- A valid front-line security guarding, door supervision or close protection SIA license
- Knowledge and experience with security systems and other related tech
- Great attention to detail and a consistent approach
- A team player with good customer service skills
