Role Profile:
At Levy UK + Ireland, we are currently experiencing an exciting period of growth in both new and existing venues. As a result, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Head of Technology Deployment to join our BUILT team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for implementing cutting-edge technology solutions across our diverse portfolio of 58 venues, including renowned football grounds like Stamford Bridge and Villa Park, as well as prestigious locations such as Wimbledon, The O2 arena, and the SEC in Glasgow. Reporting directly to the Creative and Technology Director, you will have the autonomy to manage your own schedule while ensuring the successful delivery of projects within tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a dynamic team in overseeing the deployment of technology across all venues, ensuring seamless implementation and ongoing management.
  • Drive end-to-end project management for business-wide technology deployments, including the development of comprehensive business cases.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of technology impact, considering financial implications and user experience, to provide valuable insights for decision-making.
  • Develop and optimize strategies and standard operating processes for efficient technology implementation, ensuring scalability and consistent performance.
  • Establish and manage a robust framework for the ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancement of existing deployed technology solutions, including maintaining strong supplier relationships and conducting regular service reviews.
  • Collaborate closely with the MD of BUILT and the Creative and Technology Director to identify and evaluate new technology solutions, driving innovation and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Stay abreast of new and emerging technologies in the hospitality industry, proactively identifying opportunities for their application within our venues.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record in a similar role, ideally within the hospitality and large-scale catering industry, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and the ability to navigate multiple venues and projects simultaneously.
  • Extensive experience in successfully deploying complex technology solutions, employing strong project management methodologies to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess the financial and user experience impact of technology, leveraging analytical insights to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in developing and implementing standardized processes and optimization strategies to streamline technology deployment and maximize operational efficiency
  • Strong supplier management skills, with the ability to cultivate and maintain productive relationships, negotiate contracts, and drive service improvements.
  • In-depth knowledge of various F&B systems, including EPOS, digital signage, AI scanning, automated drink self-dispense solutions, F&B ordering and payment solutions, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the technology landscape
  • Keen interest in emerging technologies and industry trends, with a passion for exploring innovative solutions to enhance guest experiences and operational effectiveness.
  • Prior experience with catering/hospitality technology solutions is highly desirable, although candidates with supplier-side experience will also be considered.
