Salary: 27,000.00 + Tronc (Conditions apply)

About the role
This role is responsible for supporting the Weddings & Events Manager by responding, negotiating and converting Wedding and Social event enquiries, generating awareness of the Andaz London Hotel to increase the number of wedding and social events year on year.
Main duties include but are not limited to:
- Responding, negotiating and converting Wedding or Social event enquiries
- Planning and invoicing each event, pro-actively reaching out to previous bookers
- Maintaining the current websites and other marketing avenues
- Constantly looking for opportunities to showcase the venue for weddings and social events.
- Attend the events operational meetings, share key information with the relevant departments and support the team to guarantee success on every event
- Daily site visits
About you
The successful candidate must have attention to detail, the ability to work to deadlines, targets and under pressure. Be an effective communicator and active listener, in order to identify client’s needs. The ability to multi task and work as a team player are key personal skills required for this role, in order for the Sales & Marketing department to achieve total sales budget.
- Previous experience within Events and Sales in a similar environment/property is essential
- Knowledge of Sales and Events process
- Driven/competitive individual who thrives on achieving of their targets
- Excellent communication skills
- Customer-focused
- IT skills, with a preference for knowledge of Opera
