Job Description:

The Group IT Project Manager will be responsible for the project management of various Sales, Marketing and/or Legal Function IT projects within the International SOS Group, including information security reviews, maintenance. product testing and any support initiatives within scope of Sales, Marketing and Legal IT Applications. The role will include documentation of process, use cases according to current industry best practises (major system development lifecycle methodology); and in conjunction with various stakeholders within International SOS.

Key Responsibilities

S&M and Legal Applications program governance:
Define an appropriate project governance framework, gain agreement from the program sponsors to the defined governance framework, apply the governance framework throughout the program/project (for example to validate assumptions, resolve issues, etc), and navigate and comply with the broader group governance processes, to ensure stakeholders have a clear understanding of their role in program delivery and that the required decision making and escalation processes are in place to help achieve the required business outcomes.


Scope definition and management:
Work closely with business leads to define and shape the program scope to ensure project outcomes and expected benefits are clearly articulated and that agreed work is aligned to the application strategy, including:
  • Translate and balance business needs and the long-term application strategy into a clear and measurable program of work
  • Influence and gain agreement of scope from business leads and key technology stakeholders
  • Review and revise scope in light of any new information and/or changes to initial assumptions, including implications for project time, cost, quality and risk
  • Business risk identification and categorization along with viable mitigation plans and solution options.


Technology program/project management:
Direct and manage a program of work to deliver solutions/capabilities that meet business requirements and realise benefits within agreed scope, time, cost and quality, including monitoring and reporting to the program sponsors on status of financials, risks, issues and progress towards milestones and deliverables


Risk management:
Ensure technology related risk (both project & operations) is within desired levels and that risks are managed according to group risk frameworks by:
  • managing and leading the identification of risks and impacts associated with the delivery in the program/project
  • managing and leading the development of mitigation plans with associated costs and benefits and facilitating informed risk management decisions by reporting and communicating risk assessments and plans to the program sponsors and stakeholders
  • Issue resolution
  • Estimation and cost management
  • Alignment to Group application processes
  • Stakeholder management
  • Partner and vendor management

Qualifications

  • B.S. in Information Systems with background in S&M and legal applications and business processes.
  • Business and/or technology tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience
  • Prince2 accreditation, PMI accreditation or appropriate formal training in Project Management
  • Demonstrated experience in Project Management; leading and achieving results from highly complex, large and ambiguous programs of work for Sales, Marketing and Legal enterprise application implementations with many of the following characteristics:
Cost ranging from $1M to $10M
Project Duration > twelve months
Virtual team members > 15 and <=100
Multiple streams of concurrent activities and/or multiple projects changing business outcomes and capability
High risk, volatile projects needing active monitoring
Diverse stakeholders with different or conflicting objectives or expectations of program/business outcomes
Global program with stakeholder across different geographies
  • Demonstrated track record of project managing successful implementation of major CRM application implementation projects (e.g. Salesforce.com Sales Cloud) and CPQ/CLM solution (e.g. Salesforce CPQ; DocuSign CLM)
  • Extensive experience in Project Management of Enterprise Sales, Marketing, Contracting (CLM) and Legal Application implementation.
  • Experience working in a large and complex organisation; understanding the differing business strategies and practices that exist between Business Units within a large organisation.
  • Ability to understand & analyse complex financial concepts & processes.
  • Proven experience implementing and rolling out S&M and Legal applications across the globe.
  • Ability to analyse change requests to determine feasibility in relation to existing business requirements, processes, & data models.
  • Demonstrated experience as a senior resource in project managing and leading in the definition of gathering and documenting business requirements, leading fit-gap analysis, as-is and to- be business process designs, conference room pilots (CRPs) functional configuration, testing and user training.
  • A sound understanding of S&M and Legal processes and best practices
