We are in a unique position in that due to our current staffing and flexibility within our maths department, the position we are recruiting to will suit a range of candidates, from Early Career Teachers, to established teachers looking to take on some leadership responsibility in the form of a Second in Department role.

Finally, we place great value on the importance of building effective relationships, therefore you should be able to demonstrate how you do so with learners, parents, and colleagues.

What we can offer you in the ever changing landscape of education and the expectations that come with this, we place great emphasis on supporting our colleagues to ensure they can deliver a first class learning experience to our students. We can offer you:

  • A great place to work where you are valued for the meaningful contribution you make to our school community.
  • The opportunity to work in an outstanding school with very high standards of behaviour and a supportive Senior Leadership Team.
  • A CPD offer of exceptional quality, which supports your drive and determination as we know the difference this makes to your success.
  • A thriving staff community where well-being is valued and people enjoy coming to work. About our school Ryedale School sits in a beautiful rural location but within an easy commute from York, Thirsk, Northallerton and the Coast.
