We are looking for hardworking, enthusiastic, self-motivated and proactive individual join us in our busy Streetpride team.
Streetpride is home to a range of frontline services carrying out services across the community, including refuse collection, street cleansing, highways maintenance and grounds maintenance.
The role of Streetpride Operational Support Supervisor is an office-based role, supporting the service by carrying out a range of duties. The duties include managing service requests, allocating work to teams, speaking to residents and customers and other administration duties. This role will also have responsibility for managing the administrative operational support staff that also work within the services.
The role can work across all areas of Streetpride but will mainly work in a dedicated service area. See below for further details of the service area we are recruiting for.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday within office hours (generally Monday – Thursday 8am – 4pm and 8am – 3.30pm Friday). These posts do allow for flexible working, however this is around the needs of the service.
The Grounds Maintenance and Arboricultural services carry out a range of activities aimed at ensuring the city remains bright, vibrant, and safe. This ranges from grass verge mowing and hedge reduction to managing Derby’s vast tree stock.
The role of the Streetpride Operational Support Supervisor is to provide technical, operational and business management support to both the Grounds Maintenance and Arboricultural services, to assist delivery of the best possible service to our clients and customers.
The key duties of the role are varied and include administering financial information and processing invoices, developing systems to monitor and improve performance, administering customer enquiries and supporting the services commercial income generating activities.

All employees will normally be appointed to the minimum of the grade for the job. For reasons connected with a particular need of the Council it may be appropriate, subject to approval, to appoint to a higher point in the pay grade.
