Job description

We are looking for an experienced Marketing Content Manager, with a vast knowledge of digital marketing to successfully manage our creative look and feel, here at Ralawise. With a team of account managers and designers, you will be responsible for management of the group's editorial calendar, content planning and production schedule, overseeing key written and visual content production for delivering briefs to the highest of standards, approving the quality of work, accurately and on-time. You will be managing workloads and capacity of the team and encouraging the generation of ideas through regular meetings and brainstorming. You will require a high-level knowledge and examples of applying digital marketing, including SMM, SEO, GA4, PPC, Content, Email, Video and Mobile.

Department: Marketing

Hours: Monday to Friday; 9am – 5.30pm

Key duties:

  • Leading the content team and creatives with a clear direction and support.
  • Delivering the digital strategy of the Ralawise group across the mediums detailed above.
  • Assigning content production tasks to team members and designers.
  • Driving creative thought and input within the marketing team and other departments.
  • Approving content to be published and ensuring it meets all quality control checks.
  • Developing the company’s voice and image in-line with branding and company goals.
  • Identifying new opportunities for content creation such as an emerging digital platforms.
  • Identifying gaps in our content and recommending new topics based on customers' needs and marketing strategies.
  • Delivering long-term content creation plans with senior management teams and other departments.
  • Developing engaging, creative content that is targeted at different audiences to inform them of the Ralawise group offering.
  • Proposing innovative new ideas for how to make content more engaging and working in collaboration with the design team and agencies.
  • Developing related content for multiple platforms/media/channels, including websites, email marketing, value propositions, blogs, videos, and podcasts.
  • Maintaining marketing materials to ensure content is up to date and aligned with marketing strategy.
  • Managing the marketing materials hub so that teams across the organisation have easy access to all approved materials.
  • Edit and proofread all content for spelling, grammar, accuracy and brand relevance.
  • Tracking measurements to ensure effectiveness of all content and appropriate ROI.
  • Analysing content reach and prepare reports for senior management.

In addition to these functions, the employee is required to carry out other duties as may be reasonably required to meet the needs of the business.

Core Competencies:

  • Graduate status preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a content creation role.
  • Demonstrated passion for creative communications, with experience ideally gained within a creative agency or employee engagement environment.
  • Established track record in creating successful marketing content from inception to finish.
  • Proven experience working with creative and account management teams to create both ongoing content programmes and content-led campaigns.
  • Exceptional writing skills and the ability to leverage multiple channels to land meaningful narratives.
  • Demonstrated research skills to develop, write and produce both written and video content
  • Excellent literacy, spelling and grammar and high attention to detail
  • A strategic and growth mind-set
  • Motivation and be willing to take on new challenges.
  • A positive approach and the ability to adapt to changes, you will work well within a dynamic team, meeting deadlines and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Ability to control situations and resolve issues.
