Job Description

At Lloyds Banking Group, we recognise that data is one of our most valuable enterprise assets. Our Data Products team builds entirely new client propositions to help clients understand their markets and their customers’ ecosystems and to solve specific business problems using the Group’s data, insights and bespoke data solutions.
The department sits within our Corporate & Institutional Banking franchise, where we maintain active relationships with two-thirds of the FTSE 350, supporting clients with annual turnover in excess of £100m. We're guided by our purpose of Helping Britain Prosper, creating a more sustainable and inclusive future for people and businesses, shaping finance as a force for good.
The Opportunity For You
There is a unique opportunity to play an important role in the success of the proposition as a Strategy Analyst. You'll be joining a new, exciting and fast growing business area and have the potential to shape its direction.
You are driven by positive results and want to make a tangible impact on business success and growth. You love to take new ideas and turn them into action, and you're comfortable taking the broad set of skills you’ve learnt and stretching the boundaries of your domain knowledge to grow your own potential.
Job Description
In this role you'll work on both new strategic initiatives and also on improving the way the Data Products team operates. You'll use attention to detail to build the business case for growth, incorporating thinking on corporate strategy and market sizing into financial projections, and helping with monitoring and reporting on business performance.
You'll use research and analysis to play a role in defining strategy. You'll think broadly about emerging market trends and opportunities, and you'll map out and monitor the network of collaborator and competitor market participants and associated partner networks.
You'll help define the path for expansion into new sectors and new markets and the best opportunities for new data and insight products. The role will give you opportunities to work closely with the product management and platform delivery teams to design and build data propositions that meet the needs of our clients and deliver value and income for the Bank, delivered in alignment to the Bank’s purpose of Helping Britain Prosper.
