PART-TIME EVENING WAITER/FOOTMAN REQUIRED FOR UHNW FAMILY IN KENSINGTON

Location: Kensington, London

Contract: Part-time, Permanent (20 hours per week)

Salary: £20,800 per annum (on payroll)

Status: Live-out

We have a unique opportunity available for an experienced Waiter/Footman to assist a Middle Eastern UHNW family in their London residence on a part-time basis. A consummate professional, you will be well spoken, well presented and quick thinking, able to work to a high standard in a very fast-paced environment.

Responsible for laying out the table for late lunch and dinner service, you will serve the principals and their guests during these mealtimes and will also be on hand to tend to any other food and beverage requests whilst on shift. Being a team player is of essence for this role, as you will work closely with the House Manager and the housekeepers to ensure that all of the principals’ needs are met.

Other duties will include clearing of the table and kitchen after service, maintaining silverware and cutlery and being a runner inside the house, predominantly for the female principal. Reporting to the House Manager, you will also undertake any ad-hoc requests from them and will have a flexible, can-do attitude and a natural service-orientated approach.

Working 20 hours weekly across 3 weekday evenings, you will generally start at 7pm and finish around 1am-3am, depending on the principals’ exact schedule. This is a permanent position, and you will be paid £20 p/h overtime, should you be required to work in excess of 20 hours per week.

DUTIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

· Laying the table for late lunch and dinner service

· Serving during lunch and dinner, which would include the two principals and occasionally family guests

· Clearing the table and kitchen after service

· Serving drinks and accommodating additional F&B requests

· Maintaining silverware and cutlery

· Undertaking any ad-hoc requests from the House Manager

· Being a runner as and when inside the house (for predominantly the female Principal)

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

· Prior high-end waiter/waitress experience in a 5-star establishment or private household

· Fluency in English and the right to live and work in the UK

· Professional, well presented and well spoken

· Hardworking, dedicated and high attention to detail

· Determined, energetic and able to work in a fast-paced environment

· Take pride in your work and naturally service-orientated

· London based

· Trustworthy, reliable, and discreet

· Excellent checkable references
