Are you an experienced and motivated Store Manager seeking a challenging and rewarding role in a Subway® franchise? As a Store Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading and developing a hard-working team, while ensuring the smooth operation of the store.

Responsibilities:
  • Recruit, induct, and train employees in alignment with Subway® brand's training requirements, setting a high standard of performance through leading by example.
  • Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and optimize efficiency.
  • Check deliveries, match orders, and manage daily banking transactions.
  • Prepare necessary paperwork related to stock and sales, maintaining accurate records.
  • Handle employee pay and timesheets, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Manage cash balances and minimize wastage to maximize profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with Subway® and council guidelines, maintaining a safe and compliant environment.
  • Perform inventory management and stock control, including weekly stock take and generating reports for analysis.
  • Utilize the Weekly Sales & Inventory Report to identify opportunities for business improvement.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and presentation through regular housekeeping activities.
  • Implement in-store marketing material and point-of-purchase (POP) displays in line with promotional campaigns.
  • Foster a culture of exceptional customer service among employees, resolving customer complaints and inquiries promptly.
  • Demonstrate product knowledge, drive sales, and cater to customer needs effectively.
  • Promote a safe work environment for employees and customers, following safety procedures.
  • Deliver high standards of service while handling products, sales, and catering to customer needs.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a Catering Manager, Store Manager, Restaurant Manager, Supervisor, Assistant Manager, or Deputy Manager, preferably within a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of inventory management and financial processes.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving targets.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
