Job Description
A great new role has come in for a Workshop Supervisor for a multinational equipment manufacturer, to assist the Workshop Manager with the effective running of a busy Workshop and to supervise the team.
What will the right person look like?
The ideal candidate for the Workshop Supervisor will need previous experience in a similar role, ability to read schematic diagrams as well as applied electrical and hydraulic skills and great customer service and leadership skills.
What will you be doing?
- Provide support for the workshop including preparing estimates, work planning, quality control, health and safety and administration.
- Provide effective leadership to and training and development of direct reports
- Provide hands on technical assistance to Workshop Engineers as and when required
- Identify opportunities and contribute to winning ideas that further develop systems and processes and improve working practices
- Working closely with the Workshop Manager to identify and provide recommendations for closing skill gaps for Workshop Engineers and Apprentices.
Hours/Salary/Benefits
The Workshop Supervisor role is Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. Competitive salary, private healthcare, attractive pension scheme and 20 days annual leave plus Christmas shutdown (3 days) plus bank holidays.

Salary: £42,000.00-£46,000.00 per year
