Are you a passionate Workshop Foreman, looking for an exciting new role?
Coulter Elite Resourcing are currently looking for a Workshop Engineer to work with one of their well-established and very successful international clients to help cover work in the Wrotham area.
The main purpose of the role is to ensure the facility is running efficiently and maximise productivity, you will have workshop engineers and apprentices reporting to you. As a representative you will be expected to lead a team of 10+ staff as a point of call for any support.
Principle Responsibilities for the Workshop Foreman: -
· Manage staff within a workshop setting, ensuring all H&S measures are met at all times
· Ability to build strong client relationships and maintain a professional image and approach towards customers.
· Strong experience with Hydraulic systems and repair and diagnosis of Plant Machinery
· Confidence to work with a team of engineers and on your own.
· Problem solving by gathering relevant information to establish facts on any manufacturer issues.
· Be a leader for quality control within the workshop.
· Be responsible for the workshop and yard, ensuring all departments within are working efficiently and implement new strategies within the workshop to improve productivity.
Person specification: -
· Full UK driving license.
· NVQ/BTEC or equivalent in engineering
· Experience working on heavy, plant, agricultural or HGV based equipment
· Good understanding on Hydraulic systems.
· Experience in a team leading position.
This is a full time permanent Field Service Engineer position, 45 hour week with overtime at time and a half and double time, offering an annual salary of £35,000 - £50,000 plus annual company benefits to include a 22 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays, pension scheme, discount scheme company van as well as personal use, tool allowance and fuel card.
