Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced candidate to join the Operations Team at Norwich City Football Club in the role of Electrician. This role will work closely with the Stadium Maintenance Manager and Stadium Facilities Manager to ensure all Club sites are maintained to a high standard and meet legislation.

The ideal candidate will have a robust knowledge of safer working practices, and be proactive in identifying areas of improvement.

Key tasks/responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Liase with site management and key personnel on building related issues
  • Carry out internal and external electrical repairs as instructed
  • Carry out project works as directed by the Stadium Facilities Manager
  • Monitor the floodlight system during matches and update software as per manufacturer guidelines
  • Use all relevant equipment within safety guidelines as necessary for the completion of works
  • Monitor electrical material stock and request new stock as required
  • To act in a manner that supports the Club’s Values of Growth, Integrity, Belonging, Resilience, Pride and Commitment

Qualifications and Experience

  • Full electrical qualification to NVQ L3 or above (essential)
  • City and Guilds 2391-52 inspecting and testing certificates (essential)
  • 17th / 18th edition qualified (essential)
  • Hold a Joint Industry Board (desirable)
