We have an opportunity for a tech agnostic software engineer to work on a peer-to-peer anonymous advice platform that is currently being used by the likes of UBS, St James Place, Sellafield, Great Ormand Street Hospital and many more organisations.

You will have the chance to work with and learn multiple languages to improve the performance and efficiency of this mental wellbeing platform.

Do you have a strong software engineering background? Do you love learning and expanding your skillset? The backend code base was previously built in Java, with new code implemented in Node and Golang. If you are an engineer who is proficient in writing clean code (in any language) and hungry to learn new technologies and broaden out your skill set, this is perfect for you! Along with a variety of programming languages, you will also practise TDD and write clean code with your colleagues to keep the engineering to the highest of standards.

Required skills for the Software Engineer opening:

  • Commercial experience with at least two programming languages.
  • The ability to write readable and maintainable code.

Nice to have’s for the Software Engineer opening:

  • Exposure to data and AI.

This is a hybrid role where you will be required in the London office once per week. A salary of £40,000 to £80,000 is on offer, depending on experience, with a generous benefits package that include AXA private healthcare, unlimited holidays, pension scheme and flexible working hours.
