As a Senior HR Business Partner (Sr. PO&D Partner), your focus will be on partnering with HR leaders, enabling them to provide strong leadership with a clear line of sight to the LEGO ® Strategy, shaping our people and culture strategy, and optimizing the HR landscape for enhanced organizational development.


Core Responsibilities

  • HR Strategic Partnership: As the linchpin between HR VPs and their leadership teams, you will be instrumental in driving the HR strategy forward, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals.
  • Coaching Excellence: Assume the role of a trusted coach and strategic advisor for HR leaders, propelling performance improvements and enhancing team effectiveness within our HR ecosystem.
  • Crafting Organizational Excellence: Take a pivotal role in shaping and evolving our HR organization to meet strategic priorities.
  • People Process Leadership: Lead the effective deployment of critical People processes, collaborating closely with global Communities of Excellence to maximize their impact.
  • Recruitment Prioritization: Take charge of recruitment prioritization and workforce governance in collaboration with the HR VPs, applying innovative organizational design principles.
  • Talent Magnet: Play a key role in the recruitment of top-tier talent for critical HR roles, bolstering our HR function's capabilities.

  • Academic Foundation: A bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, psychology, or a related field, coupled with extensive experience as a people partner within a global, matrixed organization.
  • Partnership Mastery: Adept partner management skills, demonstrated through impeccable written and verbal communication, enabling seamless collaboration across all organizational levels.
  • Data-Driven Approach: Proficiency in leveraging data to inform and facilitate decisions on people and culture.
  • Change Catalyst: Experience in change management and coaching, equipped to spearhead impactful transformations within and outside HR.
  • Resilience and Positivity: A resilient and positive disposition, backed by a solid track record of delivering influential HR partnerships.
  • Talent Nurturer: Expertise in capability assessment and talent development, driving growth within our HR talent pool.


As a person you are open minded, solution and result oriented, structured, and have a strong collaborative mentality. You have a solid eye for business, thrive with ambiguity and have a track record of managing multiple priorities and deadlines. You can establish and manage good relations to many different units and people at all levels in the organization and you know how to balance local needs vs. global directions and influence accordingly.
