About the role and our team
Join the Government Technology Services as a Service Support Engineer – Desktop!
Within this role, you’ll assist and resolve IT related problems, both Software and Hardware, including a wide range of operating systems, desktop and mobile device based. A large percentage of your time will be office based and responding to support tickets raised by Isle of Man Government staff as well as dealing with third party suppliers to conclude and resolve IT problems.
You’ll regularly attend different sites to work with senior members of government, so excellent communication skills are required with a good understanding of IT systems used by the Isle of Man Government.
You will be joining our positive, supportive and customer focused team and can be based at our Lord Street, Markwell House or Noble's Hospital offices. We also offer flexibility to work from home.

Please note a basic police check is required for this post which costs £33. A full valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle is required for this role.
A relocation package and interview expenses are not available for this role.
