Production Shift Manager - Maternity Cover 6 am - 2 pm Shift

The Role Responsibilities:
Lead and develop the production team so that they work in a safe manner and produce to ever-improving standards
Take ownership of the development of standards, processes, and procedures so that the lines start in the most efficient manner.
Drive for continuous improvement and seek out stars within the teams, give them the leadership and encouragement they deserve to enable them to shine.
Actively contribute to the wider site agenda of delivering improvements to do the best for
- The people in the business and our neighbours
- Minimising the impact of business activities on the planet
- Driving business performance towards the best better for you snack business
Knowledge Requirements:
Safety – a great understanding of how to keep people and products safe. IOSH preferred
Process – a clear ability to quickly grasp an understanding of the process and develop knowledge in others
Food Hygiene – experience and familiarity with food hygiene systems food safety and BRC standards
Continuous Improvement – basic understanding of how good manufacturing practice works; shift reviews, daily reviews, weekly reviews
Communication – the ability to convey messages quickly and simply to the relevant audience.
People Development – knows how to develop a team, and motivate individuals so that they feel ownership and accountability for delivery.
WARPS Production - Operational Hours - Monday to Friday 24hrs
Morning 6am Until 2 pm
Afternoon 2pm Until 10 pm
Nights 10pm Until 6 am
