Do you have an enthusiasm for the natural world and gardens? We are looking for a senior gardener to join our family business, tending to some of the most beautiful and unique grounds and gardens in rural Lincolnshire.
We need you to be fit and strong, with an energy and enthusiasm coupled with the expertise and knowledge to lead the renovation and ongoing development and care of our clients grounds and gardens.
Ideally you'll have a few years practical and theoretical experience in horticulture or forestry with a very good understanding of the natural world and your impact on wildlife.
You will be assigned your own gardens and clients to service that will need regular tending to on a fortnightly rota. Jobs will include but will not necessarily be limited to plant knowledge, dividing, relocating, nurturing, creation of habitat, enhancement of wildlife, pruning, weeding, planting, composting, reducing, strimming, edging, mowing and growing plants from seed and cuttings
Job Types: Part-time, Temp to perm, Zero hours contract
Contract length: 6-12 months
Part-time hours: 18 per week
Salary: £13.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Lincolnshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (required)
