Duties:
- Prepare sandwiches according to customer orders and established recipes
- Ensure the quality and freshness of ingredients used in sandwiches
- Sanitize workstations, utensils, and equipment regularly to maintain cleanliness and food safety standards
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen area
- Follow proper food handling and storage procedures to prevent cross-contamination
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely service
Skills:
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating portion sizes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate sandwich assembly
- Knowledge of retail math for handling cash transactions and providing correct change
Note: Previous experience as a sandwich maker or in a similar food service role is preferred but not required. Training will be provided for candidates who demonstrate the ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 40 per week
Salary: £12.00-£13.00 per hour
