Job description
We are a secondary wholesale supplier, operating from the Fruit & Vegetable Market on the Team Valley in Gateshead. We deliver daily provisions all over the North East to hotels, pubs, restaurants, cafes, schools etc.
We are in urgent need of some full time drivers who will begin work at 4.00 a.m, usually finishing early afternoon. Days of work will be 5 days per week between monday through to saturday (days as required).
You must be fit and healthy as there is a degree of heavy lifting involved and a clean driving license is required for insurance purposes.
The job entails being on-time each day; ensuring that the orders to be delivered are picked & loaded correctly onto the van; and delivered in a timely fashion. Any mistakes will have to be rectified and so precision is important.
Must have a good manner as you will be interacting with our customers on a daily basis.
