Our client is an international main Contractor with multiple projects throughout Europe.

They are heavily involved in the construction of Data Centers which they build as a complete package from enabling/civil works through structural build, M&E installation and commissioning to final client handover.

They are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their team to take responsibility for the civil/structural surveying duties on a new Data Centre construction in Newcastle.

Preferably you will have experience with a main contractor and at least 5 years experience. This can either be in fit-out , civils, or build.

Previous experience in Data Centers is not required.

Duties:

Day-to-day commercial activities such as submitting measurements/valuations of works and preparing payments for subcontractors.
You will also liaise with the estimating, buying, and procurement staff to ensure accurate site records are kept.
Communication with the head office
Interim administration and settlement of subcontractors’ accounts preparation of monthly contract review reports
Preparation of monthly management accounts information
Ensure that contract documents are properly executed prior to project commencement
