Job Description Summary
We have an exciting opportunity to join the hard-working and successful South East SME Real Estate team. We provide outstanding support for businesses within the Real Estate sector.Joining the South East Real Estate Team, which forms part of a wider Region specialising in Real Estate, Healthcare and Education, you will be responsible for supporting clients with all their banking needs including lending, deposits and a wide range of other services. There is an expectation to grow the portfolio by promoting the bank with professionals and key influencers throughout the South East, to develop business opportunities and bring more clients to Lloyds Banking Group. You will also be responsible for handling the risk and compliance of the portfolio.

The applicant will manage a designated sector focused Real Estate portfolio of clients to identify and satisfy client needs in the most appropriate way, meeting the Bank's credit and profitability requirements. Key aspects of the role will be to develop deposit and lending strategy for the portfolio and ensure client needs are met.

We have an exciting opportunity to join the successful Surrey / Berkshire and the South East SME Real Estate team. Forming part of a wider Region specialising in Real Estate, Healthcare and Education, you’ll be responsible for supporting clients with all their banking needs including lending, deposits and a wide range of other services.
There is an expectation to grow the portfolio, by attracting high value clients, through becoming the go to banking professional within your local community. Promoting the bank with the wider professional community and key influencers in your local area. Developing the business opportunities these connections can bring.
You'll be responsible for supporting clients with all their banking needs including lending, deposits and a wide range of other services. You'll also handle the risk and compliance of the portfolio and be seen as an integral senior member, providing support, counsel and experience to colleagues and management alike.

We're looking for an individual with really effective Relationship Management experience to grow the existing portfolio as well as the business development capability to forge new relationships and win new business.
What we'll need from you:
You'll need to demonstrate experience and knowledge of the following:
- You'll have extensive Commercial/ Relationship Banking experience with a strong lending capability; able to assess to credit risk of the corporate client
- You'll also need to demonstrate how you're wired into local networks with extensive connections in the professional space and use these for business development opportunities
- You'll be highly proficient at building and maintaining productive relationships with external professionals and adept at winning good volumes of higher value new client relationships.
- You'll use your specialist credit and sector knowledge along with all available digital tools to deliver excellent client experiences whilst identifying ways to grow income, balance sheet and market share and handling associated risks
