Job description
Giving the best services to customers and happily serving them to their needs. Responsibilities will be to take orders, serve food & drinks. Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders, answering questions, and making recommendations as appropriate. Operate cash registers and handle cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies, including those related to alcohol service and food safety. Work collaboratively with other staff members, including servers, cooks, and managers, to provide an outstanding guest experience, Attend training sessions and keep up-to-date with industry trends and developments
As the public face of the restaurant, you’re the person that customers are going to ask when they have a query, question and concern. You should give your customers the best possible experience, it is your job to ensure that you are able to help them. You should know your menu inside out, daily specials and the wine list.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience as a waiter/waitress
- Proven knowledge of menu, drinks and wines
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- A passion for hospitality and a desire to exceed guest expectations
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 16-40 per week
Salary: £11.00-£12.50 per hour
