Quality Engineer Intern (2nd Year Student Placement)
Salary: £23,168 + Company Bonus
Location: Plymouth UK
Duration: 12 months

At our UK engineering and manufacturing facility in Plymouth Devon, Rittal-CSM is currently looking for a Quality Engineering Intern to join our busy team.
Reporting to the Quality Engineering Manager, the responsibilities of this role include:
- Assisting with FAI requirements.
- Aid in the product and process validation
- Carrying out and facilitating Customer Complaints system and analysis.
- Carrying out non-conformance / root-cause analysis, implementation, and verification of permanent corrective actions.
- Assisting with internal and external audits
- Continuous improvement projects.
- Conducting product, process audits
- Capability studies along with ISIR’s and utilising measuring techniques.
Qualifications and experience:
- Studying an engineering degree or similar.
- Understanding of ISO 9004:2015
- Demonstrate problem solving abilities.
- Understanding of SPC, AQP and PPAP process.
- Desirable experience or knowledge of DFMEA & PFMEA.
