Job Summary: We are seeking a talented and experienced video editor to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling and a proven track record of creating high-quality video content for a range of platforms and audiences. The video editor will work closely with producers, directors, and other creatives to craft compelling video content that engages and inspires viewers.

Responsibilities:

• Edit and assemble raw footage into polished videos, ensuring that the final product meets the creative vision and technical standards of the project
• Collaborate with producers, directors, and other creatives to develop and execute creative concepts for video content
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and implement new techniques and technologies as needed
• Ensure that all video content is delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards
• Maintain project files and archives, and ensure that all assets are properly stored and backed up
• Provide feedback and guidance to junior editors and other team members as needed

Requirements:

• Proficiency in industry-standard editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
• Strong technical skills, including experience with color correction, audio mixing, and file compression
• A strong portfolio that demonstrates a range of creative and technical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• A keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling

Job Type: Freelance

Salary: From £18,000.00 per year
