Working for this established and international specialist electrical installer as their Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the projects. We’re looking to recruit a Project Manager with electrical knowledge from an electrical or construction background.

As the Electrical Project Manager, you should be capable of personally managing contracts through from pricing to completion and be capable of proactive planning, monitoring progress against programme, cost management, resource management, extracting efficiencies etc. The ideal candidate should be capable of managing several contracts simultaneously with the ability to control and guide site supervisors, buyers, etc. from a distance where necessary.

Naturally cost management, quality, safety, customer focus are all important attributes and we would also look for excellent ability in QS and commercial skills.

Key Responsibilities for the Electrical Project Manager:

• Based at their headquarters in Warrington you will be part of the Project Management team, acting as a Project Manager working on all aspects of managing projects.
• Delivery of assigned projects within agreed schedule and budget in accordance with our standards and regulatory requirements in a safe, clean and secure manner.
• To ensure application of the Company’s Environment, Health, Safety, Security and Quality Standards.
• To deliver, to the Business unit Manager, individual projects /packages and associated deliverables to meet safety, quality, programme and cost objectives, driving implementation of the project strategy and the use of the defined project management arrangements within the companies Integrated Management System.
• Deliver accurate and timely performance reports and planning information to the business unit Manager.

Candidate Experience for the Electrical Project Manager:

• Excellent communication skills.
• Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on high quality and business profit.
• A natural forward planner, who critically assesses his or her own performance.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage large workloads and deal with challenges in a professional and calm manner.
• Customer focused with the ability to identify and manage stakeholders
• Good knowledge of Health, Safety and Quality Management
• Understanding of the project delivery process or similar
• Approach to the resolution of issues
• A flexible attitude to work, working hours and travel.

Required Qualification for the Electrical Project Manager:

• Good Level of education
• Prince 2 Qualification
