£21,189 per year (pro-rata). Highways and Transportation are looking to recruit a new member to their Survey Team, where full training will be provided to the successful candidate. The work undertaken by this small but busy team supports the Council in surveying and monitoring various aspects of the highway and transport network across Swansea.

The Survey Team is part of a busy section responsible for a wide range of transport services funded by the Council. The post holder will be one of a small Survey Team involved in the monitoring, collection and analysis of data on home to school transport, subsidised local bus, social care transport and park and ride services, assessments of walking routes to schools as well as traffic, pedestrian and cycle counts.
Other duties will include the distribution of timetables, leaflets and school bus passes, the posting of Traffic Regulation Orders, updating information at bus stops and relief cover for Rangers at Swansea City Bus Station.
The post is part-time with a minimum of 20 hours per week over 5 days. Occasional weekend work is required.
