Role Purpose:
Bank-wide Operational Transformation “BWOT” is a core group strategy lever and will improve customer and colleague experience, underpin revenue growth through scalable processes, and improve controls and resilience. BWOT’s scope covers c. 19% of HSBC’s operating costs and encompasses operational activity of c. 70,000 FTE in WPB, Wholesale, DBS Operations, MSS Operations and Global Functions.
The purpose of this role is to support the PMO Lead / BWOT Portfolio Governance Office to deliver a governance structure across the BWOT portfolio. Once the structure is delivered the governance routines will need to be supported and enhanced where necessary to support the successful execution and growth of the programme.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Support the design and delivery of the PMO governance structure
- Maintain the PMO routines
- Provide guidance and support to the project delivery team with their governance responsibilities
- RAID Management completed at project / programme and portfolio level
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- Strong experience in PMO and Governance roles
- Background ensuring Milestones monitored and managed effectively
- Understanding and appreciation of project lifecycle
- Experience of contributing to large scale transformation with proven track record of delivery
- Strong relationship management skills, across global and markets, with an ability to influence a range of stakeholders with differing priorities
The base location for this role will be UK Based with hybrid working
